Course Content: The nine modules are the Importance of Food Safety, How Food Becomes Unsafe, Employee Health & Personal Hygiene, Receiving & Storing Food, Cross-Contamination, Preparing & Handling Food, Time & Temperature Control, Cleaning & Sanitizing, and Pest Control.

Course Expiration: You have 12 months from date of purchase to begin the course. The course expires 60 days after you begin.
Prospective Learners: This training covers the topics necessary for those who require a food handler certificate. Please confirm with your manager before purchase.
Assessment Length: The Trust20 Food Handler Assessment consists of 30-questions,divided equally among the learning objectives. There is no proctor or time limit. On average, it takes 20-30 minutes to complete.
Assessment Attempts: The assessment allows three attempts. After the third attempt, you will need to purchase a new course. The course and assessment will both close once you pass.
Passing the Assessment: You need an 70% to pass the assessment and receive your Food Handler Certificate.
Certificate Expiration: The term and expiration of the certificate varies based on location. All terms/expirations will be in accordance with local, regional, and state guidelines. When you register, you will indicate your location and the Learning Management System will send you a reminder 30 days before your certificate expires.
